Eighteen years ago, they appeared; the ‘dark creatures’. Earth wasn’t prepared, how could it have been, they came out of the ground. For every human that died a dark creature took their place. Soon, there were more of them than there were of us. Enter Erin, a young woman, enslaved by the dentark (an outlawed group of dark creatures) along with a dozen or so other humans. The struggle of despair and hope battle on. It takes the heart of the old and emboldens the young. What is to come? If only Erin, David or Sebastian knew.
